GNF Commercial Management Limited is actively hiring experienced Project Managers to support a growing pipeline of civil, residential, and commercial construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.

In this role, you will take ownership of projects from planning through completion, managing site development, schedules, budgets, and coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. You will play a key role in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Current projects include civil site work, multi-residential developments, and commercial construction across the Halifax region.

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all phases of civil construction projects
  • Prepare and manage project budgets (typically $100K–$500K)
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules and milestones
  • Supervise on-site operations and coordinate subcontractors
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards
  • Manage procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and consultants
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of construction project management experience in Nova Scotia (required)
  • Proven experience managing civil, residential, or commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of Nova Scotia building codes, site development, and local construction practices
  • Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation tools
  • Experience with CAD software (Civil 3D) is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
