GNF Commercial Management Limited is hiring pipe layers to support civil construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.
In this role, you will work as part of a pipe crew installing underground water and sewer systems, supporting site servicing work, and contributing to safe and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities
- Install underground water and sewer piping systems according to plans
- Prepare and maintain clean, safe, and organized worksites
- Spread gravel and materials to support pipe installation
- Assist with civil site servicing activities
- Operate hand tools and equipment (drills, jackhammers, saws, shovels)
- Work alongside heavy equipment operators while maintaining site safety
- Perform site and equipment inspections
- Attend safety meetings and participate in training
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience in civil construction or pipe laying is an asset
- Familiarity with water and sewer systems preferred
- Experience using hand tools and small equipment
- Safety certifications (WHMIS, Fall Protection) are an asset
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working in all conditions
- Comfortable working outdoors, in trenches, and around heavy machinery
- Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
