GNF Commercial Management Limited is hiring carpenters to support residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.
In this role, you will perform framing, formwork, finishing, and general carpentry tasks, contributing to safe and efficient construction across active job sites.

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials
- Construct structural frameworks (walls, floors, roofs)
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, and fixtures
- Build and dismantle concrete formwork
- Repair or replace damaged structures and components
- Follow all safety regulations and use PPE on site
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
- Coordinate with other trades (electricians, plumbers, etc.)
- Prepare and maintain clean job sites
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry or general construction preferred
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Familiarity with residential and commercial construction methods
- Experience with formwork systems is an asset
- Safety certifications (WHMIS, Fall Protection) are an asset
- Physically capable of lifting and performing demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
- Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
