GNF Commercial Management Limited is hiring formworkers to support residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.
In this role, you will assist with building and installing concrete formwork for structural components, contributing to safe and efficient construction across active job sites.

Responsibilities
- Build and install concrete forms for footings, walls, slabs, and columns
- Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials for formwork systems
- Strip, clean, and prepare forms for reuse
- Ensure formwork is level, plumb, and properly braced
- Operate tools and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and site protocols
- Work with supervisors and trades to support project execution
Requirements
- Experience in construction formwork preferred
- Familiarity with power tools and formwork systems
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices
- Safety certifications (WHMIS, Fall Protection) are an asset
- Physically capable of lifting and performing demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Able to work at heights (ladders, scaffolds)
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
