GNF Commercial Management Limited is hiring Project Coordinators to support civil construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.

In this role, you will assist with planning, coordination, and execution of active construction projects, working closely with project managers, field teams, and consultants to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of construction schedules
  • Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment across job sites
  • Maintain project documentation including permits, contracts, and reports
  • Act as a liaison between field staff, project managers, engineers, and consultants
  • Assist with quality control and ensure work meets specifications and safety standards
  • Identify and help resolve on-site or logistical issues
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Prepare updates and reports for internal teams

Requirements

  • Education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology (CET), EIT, or related field
  • Understanding of civil construction methods and site coordination
  • Experience supporting project documentation and field operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint is an asset
  • Experience with Civil 3D is an asset
  • Ability to work on-site and conduct site visits as required
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team
