We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for designing and analyzing structures and contributing to the safe and efficient progress of construction or infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit for structural design, drafting, and analysis
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to design safe, efficient, and code-compliant structures
- Manage structural engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Conduct structural assessments and provide engineering recommendations for repairs or improvements
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project execution
Job Requirements
Language: English
Education: College diploma or apprentice training 2 years minimum
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in structural engineering design and project management
- Proficiency with CAD and design software, including AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with additional software such as MicroStation, Mathcad, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam is an asset
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards is an asset
- Must be able to work on-site regularly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadline
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
